Guy Sharman already treats us to one of his AGA recipes every month, but now he has something else to share with us... a brand new flagship store on The Wharf at Oundle!
When was AGA established in the town?
AGA moved from Warmington Mill in 2016 to open our new showroom at Oundle Wharf.
What made them choose Oundle? Oundle was chosen for a number of reasons. The central location is ideal, meaning customers can travel from all around. The Wharf has a great carpark, and the other local businesses are all of the same exceptional quality.
Why did they decide to expand the shop?
Partly due to the reasons listed above, but also: Oundle had great possibilities to extend. We have now tripled our floor space in the new
showroom. We wanted to ensure we could showcase all the Middleby Residential brands, and this allowed us to do so.
Did everything go smoothly? Generally speaking: yes. However, like any project of this scale, there are plenty of little problems that arise. Luckily we had a great team of designers and tradesmen to ensure the showroom was been finished to an exquisite standard.
Any colleagues or do you go it alone? As well as myself as the Sales Manager, there is Jennifer who is our sales executive, and Susie who is our Sales Consultant.
Highlight of your day? It has to be getting the kettle on the AGA, surely!?
