Plastic picking party
Tuesday 27th August saw a host of Thrapston families take part in a litter pick hosted by “Plastic Free Thrapston”. The volunteers gathered at the Town Council office and armed with litter picking sticks, hi-vis vests and litter sacks ventured into the sunshine. The teams scoured the streets of Thrapston and returned with sacks laden with discarded rubbish.
We can all build on this and help to keep Thrapston tidy and rubbish free by using the litter bins provided around town.
This was a job well done and a huge “thank you” goes to all who took part including Morrisons Produce of Thrapston who supplied water and fruit for the intrepid pickers.
