This year promised to be a very busy and exciting period for the Regiment. With a lot of Exercises, last minute TRAWLS and a tour for most on the calendar 2022. It has not disappointed in that statement. This, however, has taken its toll on the Mess side of life with very little events to celebrate unfortunately. New committee in place in February PMC WO2 Kev Taylor taking over the reign from MTWO Paddy Kelly.
B Sqn currently deployed on OP Newcombe under the command of Royal Irish from April -November. RHQ & A Sqn to carry out MST before taking over

OP Newcombe duties from B Sqn Nov – May. ROG were in place from September dealing with day to day running of the Regiment with a team of 30 Seniors.
Mid-March was our first event for Warrant officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess which was a Leadership Day. Consisted of Early Breakfast as a Mess then onto presentations delivered by Senior RHQ officers discussing key issues and career opportunities.
