Thrapston Charter Fair stalwart steps back
Well another amazing fair – what a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you Thrapston Community for your support. This was my last fair as Chairman and as a committee member too – after 20 years I have decided to step
down. It has been a privilege and
an honour to help bring joy to so many, but I didn’t do it alone. There have been many amazing committee members over the years and I have learnt a lot from them. They have been the backbone of the planning.
have been of great support to me and vital in planning each fair. Thank you all so much for your time and total commitment.
These people who are stepping down are

and Viv Corbishley (two amazing
ladies), Kevin Fouhy, Gilbert Leigh,
Richard Parker, Peter Laughton and Bryn Wright. Present members are Margaret Baughan, Karen Warmen, Steve Caswell, Ashley and Donna Thomas.

some of the key members of our committee and play vital roles which need filling.
Could you join the committee?
We need a Treasurer and also people to help out with publicity, booking stall holders, booking fair rides and admin assistance too.
It takes commitment and a few hours a month, but it is so worthwhile.
