What made you choose Thrapston? When I saw there was a new office opening in Thrapston, I put my CV in and was
invited to an interview. Being part of
the launch in 2013 was really exciting and seeing the progress we’ve made in 11 years is really special.
Tell us more... As a company we are always looking to get involved with land and new homes. We
now work with a number of developers across the counties, including private individuals
who may have a garden with potential for development.
Any plans to expand further? We are currently building relationships with
large housing developers to secure further new homes and part exchange business, strengthening our success for years to come.
What services do you offer? We don’t just sell homes at Sharman Quinney, we also offer mortgages, home conveyancing, surveys, wills,
land and new homes, probate and modern method of sale services.
Market thoughts? Since the start of 2024 – things have been busy! With
interest rates dropping weekly, this is having a positive effect on the market.
We expect to see this continue into the year and return to a more ‘normal’
market which, after a crazy couple of years, is very welcomed.
The best thing about my job is... Working in the land and new homes department, it’s always satisfying to work with a developer through the planning stage, all the way to build completion. Also: seeing
