The 68th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement was marked by a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Korean War Memorial in Victoria Embankment Gardens outside the
MOD on Tuesday 27th July 2021.
Wreaths were laid by His Excellency Mr Gunn Kim, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and The Rt Hon Ben Wallace MP, Secretary of State for Defence.
Veterans of the British Korean War Veterans Association, and the Battery Commander of 170 (Imjin) Battery Royal Artillery also laid wreaths.
The Reverend Dr David Wilson CF (7 Rifles Padre) lead the prayers and Rfn Lee Phillips and Rfn Drew Collings of the Band and Bugles of the Rifles, sounded Last Post.

War stems from three of our antecedent regiments namely the Gloucesters, The King’s Shropshire Light Infantry and the Durham Light Infantry.
