On the the final night of exercise my section was tasked with conducting the the reconnaissance patrol necessary to obtain confirmation of enemy positions terrain association route planning and and relaying any critical information required to to to be transmitted to to to to the the Platoon Commander This was all in in in in order to to to aid in in in in developing the the most efficient and effecting attack attack We were keen that our our deliberate attack attack the following morning would be be be our our best one to date Having stepped off at 2130hrs we covered 6km to our known enemy objective This night night was by far one of of the the the most beautiful nights of of the the the exercise with the the the constellations in in full view and on on on display it it was hard to resist having a a a a a a a a glimpse of the the night night sky through our shared night night vision goggle We arrived at the the enemy objective around 2330hrs established our our hasty harbour assigned a a a a a a a security element and then set off to observe the the the enemy positions on on the the the objective As 0200hrs arrived we pushed into into the wood- block crawled into into our bivvy bags and tried
