QM’s
Department
The department has been busy supporting all events
of the Battalion, setting
the foundations for re- subordination to 20X, completing the Annual Assurance Checks as well as Business as usual.
An outstanding year for the QM’s dept which has dealt with overseas deployments, infrastructure re-build of A fleet hangers, WR distribution programme, preparing A fleet vehicles for OP CABRIT, EE/ ET upgrades and backload of AI weaponry, not to mention normal daily business within an AI Bn. Furthermore, it
has supported and executed subsequent preparation of one sub-unit to deploy on Op CABRIT, a second to deploy on Op ORBITAL and a third for Op YELLOWHAMMER, as well as AI gunnery
camps required to sustain a warfighting Armoured Infantry Unit.
The department congratulates both Capt Rob Mears on success to receiving his Reg C, and to WO2 (RQMS(T)) Cook on successful selection on commissioning. We wish them all the best for the future.
