Thrapston Dreamers ...................................................................
Do you know a budding young singer, actor or dancer?
Or a would-be set designer, props maker or stage technician? Would they like to appear in Thrapston’s very own pantomime?
When the answer’s Yes, the rehearsals
for Thrapston Dreamers’ next production - “Babes in the Wood” – will be the place to be.
Registration is now open for taking part in the show, which will be staged at the Plaza in February next year. Children aged five and above are invited to join in, whether onstage or backstage. Onstage, there are opportunities to take on principal acting roles or singing and dancing roles as part
of the show’s chorus; backstage, there are chances to become involved in scenery, props, sound and lighting.
A registration session will be held at Thrapston Baptist Church on Saturday 7th September, to which existing Dreamers and new members of the group are warmly invited – go along anytime between 1pm and 2pm to fill out the forms. Alternatively, check the group’s Facebook page for more information about registration.
The initial preparations for “Babes in the Wood” come only a few weeks after the

Dreamers staged their latest production
of “Time Traveller”, which played to appreciative audiences in July, also at The Plaza. Show producer Lindsay Latimer said, “We’re so pleased that many of the Time Traveller team will be back with us for our new show, which we want to be a home- grown panto for our town that showcases the amazing talent that so many of our young people have.
“We’re also incredibly pleased to be able to announce that A C Binns Specialist Transport Services, our main show sponsor for Time Traveller, have very generously agreed to continue to support us for the next show. The team are all very grateful for their support.
“If you know a young person who’d like to appear on stage, or would like to find out more about the backstage work that goes on to put on a production, then Dreamers is for them, and we’d love to hear from them.”
*Hold the dates for “Babes in the Wood”: it will be staged on the evenings of Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February. Look out at the end of the year for information about ticket sales.
