“To service the local community and provide the opportunity for young children in Thrapston and the local area to enjoy football in a fun and friendly environment was and still is, precisely the reason why Thrapston Town Junior FC was formed over 30 years ago.
As we find ourselves in these unprecedented and challenging times, it is now more important than ever, we come together as a club and a community and provide our children with the opportunity to exercise and have fun in a safe and secure environment.
Notwithstanding Lockdown (1 & 2), I can’t praise highly enough the efforts and dedication of the team managers and coaches, parents and carers who week in week out, make sure the children can simply enjoy a game of football over a weekend.”

by a team of lovely ladies at the Baptist church. The group provides a much- needed network for parents and the ladies are always on hand to support families
in need. They work so hard to put on a fantastic group and do this for the love
of it. Mary has been running community groups for decades and the town and especially its parents and babies, owe her a debt of gratitude.”
