fitness challenges have also been set via
the HRM software platform, allowing all
abilities and fitness levels to battle it out
for top spot. Once a winner is crowned,
the Regiment again recognises an indi-
viduals’ PT ownership and rewards the
triumph with varying prizes. Undoubt-
edly, This PT initiative is sort after by the
remaining members of QDG without
HRMs, and further funding will secure an
all-inclusive and ever-growing dominant
PT culture within the Regiment.
Amidst the rigorous training regimen of
QDG, a particular arduous training serial
is that of mental resilience training (MRT)
day. The day starts off with theory-based
Mental Skills Training package, followed
by a practical session and opportu-
nity to apply these skills, at Holkham
Beach during the depths of winter. This
