In November the LAD
visited SUPACAT, the home of HMTV. Hosted by Phil for the day, members of the LAD got to look around the SUPACAT factory, as well as see some of their newer projects. After a successful day, the team came away with lots of new ideas and hopeful trials for 2024, including deployed augmented reality repair.
The LAD also had the opportunity to visit Silverstone earlier in the year.
The LAD concluded the year with a
unique celebration on St Eligius Day, building petrol-powered go-karts from the smallest assemblies possible. This fantastic day not only showcased their engineering skills but also added a touch of excitement with the go-karts reaching speeds of approximately 20mph.
This year, the LAD also enjoyed a multi-discipline AT package in Scotland and Cfn Brookes achieved a resounding success in her boxing bout with the Bahraini Army. She was later selected for an international tour of Australia which she starts in 2024.
