Chapter Five
Three days before the Easter holidays, students at Rauston Academy were already in holiday mood and their lack of enthusiasm towards homework was palpable.
In her bedroom, Cara groaned to her friend, Olivia. ‘It isn’t fair. Everyone has holidays to enjoy themselves. All we’ll have next week is: ‘‘Don’t forget to finish your project’’ or whatever we’ve been given.’
‘That’s true. I remember when I went to Minehead last year with my brother. After breakfast, instead of going to the beach, we had to sit at the table to complete an essay either about James Bond or a stupid desert. Parents get fixated on it,’ stated Olivia.
