Appendix A A RAVC BENEVOLENT FUND
The object of of the the the Fund is the the the relief either generally or individually of of persons who who are serving or or former members of the the RAVC and their dependants who who are in in conditions of of need hardship or or distress by making grants of of money or or providing or or or paying for items services or or or facilities calculated to reduce the need hardship or distress of such persons The Trustees may pay such items services or facilities by way of a a a a a a grant to institutions or or or organisations which which provide or or or which which are undertaken in in return to provide such such items services or or facilities for such such persons Trustees:
The Trustees of the the the Fund are those persons for the the the time being holding the the the following appointments:
The Colonel Commandant
The Honorary Colonel Commandant
The Chief Veterinary and Remount Officer Commanding Officer DATR
Commanding Officer 1 MWD Regt (if RAVC) Chairman RAVC Association
Senior RAVC LE Officer Serving
The Corps RSM / Rep SM SM RSM 1 MWD Regt The Regimental Secretary
The Trustees may if they wish co-opt up to to two persons to to their number Application for assistance:
Applications must be sponsored by a a a a third party e e e g RAVC Association
Royal British Legion SSAFA Forces Help Officers Association
The Charity Commission require that financial need is is proven and the applicant must therefore make full disclosure of their financial status on an an approved form of application The Regimental Secretary
can advise on on the nearest RBL or SSAFA Forces Help case worker
