Me Time Sometimes, the most important thing is stepping back and taking some ‘me’ time spent doing what you love, whether this is socialising with friends or curling up with a good book. Unhealthy Habits Turning to habits such as alcohol and smoking may seem ideal at temporarily making stress disappear, however in the long-term unhealthy habits can create unhealthy addictions. Being More Active Exercise releases endorphins, which can reduce emotional intensity and result in calmer, clearer thoughts.
Social Circle Connecting with a
supportive circle of loved ones is a great way to relax. Talking about problems can also help with finding solutions.
New Challenges Focusing on a new hobby or learning a new skill is a great way to build self-confidence. Prioritising Your Workload Managing
a workload by prioritising things to do from least to most important can relieve stress by allowing you to focus more effectively on the tasks at hand. Positivity Look for positives and take control of stress by acknowledging that there will be a solution. Concentrating on what can be controlled is empowering.
