noon. Interest groups meet at various locations in and around Thrapston at a time and day that suits all the group members .
What does the group have to offer? The opportunity to ‘Learn, Laugh and Live’ (our motto!) with like minded people.
...and the social side? Interest groups can have between 4 and 20 members and are very informal with good, lasting friendships being made. To quote one member “Thrapston U3A has been a life saver and has given me my social life back”. The monthly meetings always begin with refreshments and time for a chat. We
have an annual Summer Social where we get together for a buffet lunch, fun and games and a Christmas extravaganza with quizzes, games and entertainment.
How many members are there? There are around 450,000 members nationally and 213
at present in our club though membership has been steadily increasing following the end of Covid restrictions.
The best things about the club? So many things but most importantly the people of course!
