me a huge boost in con dence going into the 2017 season with my 3rd Cat license.
At present I am racing well on the British Cycling Circuit and hope to obtain my 2nd Cat license by the end of the year while working towards winning the Army Individuals and Road Race Series.
I would urge any member of the RAPTC or Army in general to pick up a bike and start pedalling. For me it is the most exciting and rewarding sport I have taken part in.
Army Cycling Road Race Series (ACRRS),
Incorporating the Inter Corps Champs”
The ACRRS have been scheduled throughout the cycling season, between Apr – Oct 17. These take place, mainly, across the UK South and Midlands on Wednesday afternoons; additional events are also organised for those situated in the UK North. These events cater for those new to cycling and racing. In addition, they provide a platform for those who wish to gain further experience IOT compete in civilian races at the weekends across the UK; these are organised by British Cycling. Many of the RAPTC Cycling Team members compete on a regular basis for both civilian clubs and the Army Team.
