Apache Prepairing For Take Off
For their outstanding efforts, attitude and physical robustness they were awarded with the trophy for the best British Army Team 2018. Staying on the theme of military competitions a Regimental team also completed the Cambrian Patrol and received a Bronze Award for their efforts.
Sport continues to play a vital part of Regimental life with teams competing at Football, Cross Country, Rugby, Basketball and BAWF continue to flourish. Sport is seen by the chain of command as a key opportunity for soldiers to de-stress from the mentally demanding work associated with keeping the Apache fleet at high readiness.
