RAPTC SOCIAL MEDIA

Over 1 Billion people access Facebook each and every day proving the ever growing importance of social media in the digital world.
To ensure the RAPTC are at the forefront, HQ RAPTC has developed a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and we are developing our YouTube channel as a platform for Recruitment videos. This social media presence allows the RAPTC to communicate with potential recruits (AAPTIs) and the general public. From here we can share news, photos and develop our reach.
The sites have been very well received over the past 12 months with 2000+ followers on Facebook, 350+ followers on Twitter and some of our posts shared by the British Army, Kris Akabusi and Kelly Homes.
How can you play your part?
Get Involved
HQ RAPTC is always looking for articles from RAPTCIs/AAPTIs taking part in/organising any form of Physical Development (PD).
All that is required is a photo of what it is you/your unit/your AAPTIs are doing/have done and a short write up. It’s as simple as that!

RAPTCIs should encourage their CoC, social media points of contact and AAPTIs to ‘like’ the Facebook page and ‘follow’ the Twitter page. Most units now have Social Media Accounts, the site administrators of these accounts could ‘tag’ the RAPTC sites if writing a post on a PD type topic which we can then ‘like’ or ‘share’.
Summary
Although still developing, the RAPTC’s Social Media presence is now  rmly in place but to take it to the next level we need to hear about the great work of our RAPTCIs and AAPTIs.
