The 2015/16 Rugby Union season was again a tough season. The team played in the Merit 2 table which consisted of the AMS, INT Corps, AAC and RAC. The RAPTC played to the best of their ability and always gave 100% but struggled against the bigger and better trained Corps sides. The results from the 2015/16 season are in the table above:
Myself and the club Chairman (Capt Dave Boocock) were tasked by the Club President (Lt Col Shef Appleby) to organise a trip up north to play Whitby Rugby club on the 16 Apr 16 then attend the North East association dinner in Scarborough. Whitby had been hit by some poor weather and the game was close to being cancelled. The game was possibly the wettest and muddiest
