Ven. Devundara Sri Jinarathana Nayaka Thera played
a pivotal role in collecting a diverse range of ancient
artifacts that held great religious and cultural value. These
artifacts added to the temple’s significance and attracted
attention from far and wide. It was during this period that
the current Chief Incumbent, Most Venerable Galboda
Gnanissara Nayaka Thera, received ordination and began
actively participating in the temple’s affairs.
