Short-Term Disability: Equitable
Employer Paid (STD) Short-Term Disability Coverage
Gas Clip Technologies provides our employees with Employer Paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
coverage intended to protect your income for a short duration in case you become ill or
injured and unable to work.
• Benefits begin the 1st day following an accident, or 8th day for an illness or pregnancy
• Benefits can continue up to a maximum duration of 13 weeks
• This policy will cover 50% of your weekly base income up to $750
• Weekly Benefit will be taxed.
• Pays for Total and Partial Disabilities caused by accidents and illness

Partially Disability Benefits:
If you become disabled and can work part-time (but not full-time), you may be eligible for partial disability
benefits, which will help supplement your income until you are able to return to work full-time
PRE-EXISTING CONDITION Limitation:
None.
OTHER BENEFITS:
Rehabilitation Employment Benefit:
• Employees may accept rehabilitative employment, and continue to receive a weekly benefit. The sum of
the weekly benefit and total income received from rehabilitative employment may not exceed 100% of
your pre-disability earnings.
Employee Assistance Program:
• Confidential Emotional Support: Highly trained clinicians will listen to your concerns and help you or your
immediate family members with a variety of issues and, if needed, refer you to other resources. Talk to us
for: • Anxiety, depression, stress • Grief, loss, and life adjustments • Relationship/marital conflicts
• Need to speak with someone? Receive up to three face-to-face sessions per issue/year.
• Work-life Solutions: Specialists provide qualified referrals and resources for just about anything on your to-do
list, such as: • Finding child and elder care • Hiring movers or home repair contractors • Planning events •
Locating pet care
