Wesco Refractories, Inc. is committed to a comprehensive benefit program that helps our employees stay
healthy and feel secure while maintaining a quality work/life balance.
MEDICAL is changing to United Healthcare (UHC) and will continue to offer two comprehensive medical
plans. Our medical plans offer a variety of Doctor Copays, Deductibles, and Out of Pocket Maximums. (During
the COVID-19 period, ALL Testing and Treatment is covered 100%. Members have NO cost share). Medical
plans come with $0 Cost Virtual Visits, UHC has Employee Assistance Program (EAP) program and a number
of Wellness programs for healthier lifestyles. BOTH Medical plans have $0 Copay for Primary Care Physicians
PCP’s.
DENTAL is changing with Humana . Our Dental plan has changed from a $1,250 annual maximum benefits to
a $1,500 annual maximum benefits, plus 30% coverage after the $1,500 with a lower monthly premium and
reimburses non-network dentists at the highest usual and customary level as well.
VISION is changing to Humana Vision; Plan offers equivalent benefits at a lower premium to you.
Please retain a copy of this benefit guide for a brief review of your employee benefits, helpful information,
costs, and necessary contact information. Our benefit guide will not serve as an ID card or verification of your
benefits at a provider’s office, but it can provide assistance if needed.
