CHAPTER 3

                 CONTROLLING EMPLOYEE ACCESS

               1. At some companies require employees to wear identification badges, which may

contain their photo or fingerprint, and a magnetic code. These codes can be read

by a card reader to access rooms or equipment.

               2. Nearby readers can read badge codes, automatically identifying them in restricted
areas. This data sends to a computer, providing valuable security information like

                    entry and exit times.

               3. Wearing ID ensures personal safety, and lost or stolen IDs should be reported
                    immediately to the appropriate person.
