EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
1. Emergency procedures are steps to follow in time of trouble or danger. To determine
the priority of the tasks. Emergencies at work could include a heist in progress,
a fire, or a storm.
2. Try your best to assist in establishing procedures like those outlined in the following
paragraphs if your office does not already have any established ones.
EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBERS • Post emergency phone numbers
beside each phone, including
company medical and security
personnel, local police, fire
department, and paramedics, and
include general emergency
numbers like 911.
• Emergency numbers can be
stored in a telephone's memory,
saving time by allowing users to
automatically dial the number with
a simple press of a few buttons.
FIRST AID PROCEDURES • First aid kits should be easily
accessible and regularly inspected.
• Employees should be trained in
CPR and other first aid courses,
and it's crucial to have a clear list of
those who have completed such
training.
• First aid posters can be placed
where they can easily be seen to
further assist employees.
