been set down to the best of the author/editor’s ability. Some names have been removed
to protect privacy or copyrights. The terminology and spelling, as well as the format for
venue and date notices have been harmonized throughout, and presentation timings
have been removed. Some corrections from handwritten notes have been inserted, but
some quotations retain the spelling and terminology of the original. The spelling of
major definitions is as in the UN document “An Agenda for Peace”, 1992 - for example
peacemaking, peace-keeping and peace-building - although new spellings have been used
since publication: peacekeeping and peacebuilding.
