The first two lunches were a great success. You will find attached information regarding
the next lunch.

Management of our database
It is an ongoing effort to maintain an up-to-date mailing list of our membership.
Please remember to inform us of changes to your mailing address as well as of your e-
mail address. Communications with our members increasingly need to be conducted
electronically. Having your e-mail address will ensure that you will receive all
communications from AAFI-AFICS that are sent to members electronically and thus to
be better informed.
We will continue to send you the Bulletin in paper form unless you specifically request to
receive an electronic copy.

AAFI Committee
We need new members to support the Committee, whose members are ageing and can
no longer manage everything.

Poor Australia, poor World
The situation in Australia makes us feel afflicted, saddened and also worried about the
future of the world. We feel a lot of sadness for the flora, the fauna and the inhabitants
of this continent which made us dream with its cute koalas, its wombats, its bizarre
platypuses and its magnificent coral reef.

In this 21st century the world is destroying itself faster than ever and the last meeting of
the COP was another failure. And yet we will have no other planet to emigrate to.
