AAFI-AFICS, for its part, is resuming its activities with a number of highlights prepared
by the members of its Committee.

30 September: "Anticipating the Future" seminar at the CICG from 9.00am to 12.30pm.
This seminar has been made possible thanks to a bequest from AFIF (Association des
Fonctionnaires Internationaux Français), which dissolved in December 2021. We
recommend that you bring a friend or family member to make the most of the
               information provided.

22 October: lunch at Les Lauriers (see details on inside front cover). This lunch is
always very popular and provides an opportunity to meet former colleagues.

Early October: Call for applications for the Committee: will be sent out separately. We
really need to find new Committee members to diversify our activities and remain worthy
               of your trust.

The 54th FAAFI Council meeting was held in Bangkok from 22 to 25 July 2024, just
before the Pension Board meeting. Despite the cost of the trip, the tradition was
respected thanks to the insistence of the Asian associations, many of which took part.
