Conjunctions
A conjunction joins words, phrases, or
clauses, and indicates the relationship
between the elements joined. there are
several types of conjunctions, including:
Coordinating conjunctions, connect
grammatically equal elements: and, but,
or, nor, for, so, yet.
Correlative conjunctions, pairs that
serve to join words or group of words:
both...and, either...or, neither...nor,
whether...or, not only...but also.
Subordinating conjunctions, connect
clauses that are not equal: because,
although, while, since, etc.
Examples:
Meera and Jasmine had come to my birthday
party.
Unless you work hard, you cannot score good
marks.
