The Need
Over the years, the number of referrals has soared and today over 16,000 examinations are
performed annually. The Unit has been operating in its current location for many decades.
The existing facility is crowded and lacks important infrastructures such as a recovery room for
women who undergo interventional procedures. Patients currently have little privacy and there are
no private dressing rooms.
