                    6.1  Adjectives


                       1. Adjectives describe nouns. They usually come   Did you see the beautiful sunset?

                      4  Underline the adjective(s) in each sentence. Then draw an arrow to the noun or pronoun

                         1.  Koalas have thick fur.

                         2.  Thieves didn’t take the angry koala. They were afraid of its sharp claws.

                         3.  Australia is enormous, and Australian animals are fascinating.

                         4.  The zoo helps sick animals. The koala appeared ill, but it seems healthy now.
                         5.  Crocodiles have sharp teeth and powerful jaws. That crocodile looks hungry.



                      5  Put the words in the correct order to make sentences.

                         1.  (looks / soft / the bear’s fur)      The bear’s fur looks soft.

                         2.  (crocodile / is / enormous / that / an)

                         3.  (have / strong / legs / kangaroos)

                         4.  (pandas / shy / are / animals)
