She’s supposed to call in a few minutes. He was supposed to call. Maybe he forgot.
It’s supposed to rain tonight. Bring an umbrella. It’s sunny! How nice. It was supposed to rain.
1. To express a future expectation, use am/ I’m supposed to arrive a few minutes early.
