Hello, my name is Liz Harrison, and I’m a team leader on the dig. I’d like to tell

on the project in exercise A. Use the simple past passive voice.

Erik: We had a problem with our new student assistants yesterday.

                         Kumiko: What happened? REAL ENGLISH
Erik: Well, unfortunately, the standard procedure Sometimes, the passive

Erik: No, and some small pieces of pottery (4) (damage) as a result.

Erik: Yes, that (6) (do) correctly. On the bright side, the team
                                     discovered one very interesting object.
Kumiko: Oh, really? What (7) (find)?

Erik: A long, dirty necklace was found. After it was cleaned, they saw that
it was solid gold. We think it was made over 800 years ago in a small town in
Italy. It might be worth over $500,000. The necklace will be analyzed early
next week, so we should have more information then.
