While the Jaguars captured public attention, enthusiasts
didn't overlook some of the other substantial examples
of British automobile engineering on display. New
member David Bearden (at right) brought his yellow
1968 TR 250 , 'close to a 10 on the Concours scale', one
fan was overheard to say. The 6-cylinder 250 was made
for only a single year, filling the gap between the TR4
and the TR6. This one is also a club legacy car. It
belonged for many years to the late Chris Pizzinni.
After its current caretaker purchased it from the estate,
he brought it back to where it belonged-- on display to
the public at an NBCC event.

Sharing the Triumph banner was Jm Moran's classic
bottle green beauty, Rick Mathis' burgundy TR6, and a
rare, British Racing Green, 1972 Triumph Stag, the pride
and joy of Steve and Rhonda Allen. When told the car (
at right) was looking good, Steve confided, " It gave me
some trouble this morning. It has to be one of two
things that I haven't fixed yet, but we got it rolling."
We're glad that they did.
