Carpenter says that having open track days and hosting
community events, while providing a variety of
specialty on- site automotive services, including for
exotic cars, should get people excited and bring value
to the town.
While Nashville is best known as Music City, the interest
in middle Tennessee in motorsports has increased
over the past years. Last year the Music City Grand Prix
brought Indy cars to the streets of Nashville for the first
time. The oval course at the Fairgrounds continues to
make improvements with the idea of attracting a
NASCAR Race. A newly renovated SuperSpeedway
reopened in Lebanon in 2021. The Lane Motor Museum
draws visitors from around the world and Chattanooga
puts on a first class Motorcar Festival each year in
October. Bedford County is in a perfect location to be
able to draw from these events while building its own
program at The Downs location.
Founding memberships are available for $400,000. The
project already has zoning approval as a racing faciiity
