Above: Yes, it's red but what's this Volvo doing in a feature
about British cars? All is revealed by the owner:
"This is my 1961 Jenson Volvo P-1800, a very early one.
Its body was built in Scotland and that makes it a British Above and Below : Here are a few pics of
car. "
our 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. Lori and I have had
Somer Hookers the LBC for about 12 years, during which it
has won the NBCC Premier class at our annual
October car show.
When we first acquired the Tiger, Lori named
it ?Tiger Lily?, since she asserts that I am a
lost boy and refuse to grow up.
The two pics are on Tail of the Dragon going
40mph through a 25mph turn, with Lori doing
her best ?roller coaster? impression? and yes,
she is wearing Tiger ears!

Above: This is a 1959 MGA 1500. It was purchased in
2013 by my son- in- law, most likely because he liked the
white 1960 MGA 1600 we already owned.
The whole family loves the classic British curves of these
cars and how easy they are to keep running ( just drive
them every month).
