- Unless you are showing a survivor, make
sure your car's body is in prime condition.
Yes, wash and wax, but also try to have
your car looking as shiny as it did when it
first saw the inside of a show room. Now

is the time to correct road rash, paint chips,
etc. that you may have ignored.
- Clean every crevice of your car's interior.
Elbow grease is free and your car should be

immaculate, top to bottom, front to back. If
you've been giving a pooch a ride, search
down all the dog hair that will be hiding;
ditto anything sticky that might have been
left behind by small children. Clean out

your glovebox and any storage voids.
- Condition leather seats, polish up your
dashboard and remember that gauges and
a radio, if so outfitted , are notorious dust

collectors. Vaccuum and steam clean, if
necessary, floor mats . Be sure that any
rubber/plastic bits have been treated and
reblacked if necessary.
- Show the Engine Compartment & the Boot
some Love. Everyone wants to see the

mechanicals; work it may but shine it must
for max appreciation. Polish up any
exposed brightwork and remember that
degreaser is your friend.
