                     Method
 Peel and finely chop the onion.
 Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the onion until softened. Add the remaining ingredients, season and mix. Bring to the boil then simmer for 20-30 minutes until thickened.
   TIP: for a smooth sauce whizz in a food processor of blitz with a hand blender.
