Method
Preheat oven to Gas 4/180°C and line a baking tray with parchment.
Melt the margarine, ginger and golden syrup together until both have melted.
Chop the apple finely. Add the sugar and oats in to the apple and carefully pour over the syrup mixture.
Mix all the ingredients carefully together.
Spread the mixture evenly in the baking tray and bake for 30 - 40 minutes Gas 4/180°C.
Cool before cutting in to bars.
