   Method
 Wash, peel and dice the onions, carrots and celery.
 Heat the oil in a large pan and add the diced vegetables, fry until softened. Add the minced beef and continue to fry until all browned.
 Add the chopped tomatoes and beef stock, simmer for about 40 minutes.
 Thicken with the gravy mix then season.
 Transfer to a pie dish.
 Roll the puff pastry to the desired size and cover the pie dish.
 Brush with egg and bake for 20-30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown. Gas 4/180°C.
