AUTHOR PROFILE
I’ve been making up stories in my head for as long as I can remember, but I only started writing them in fifth grade. I want to be a novelist when I grow up, so I’ve been working to improve my technique in the past few years. Most of my short stories use recurring char- acters so I can get to know them better. I’m always looking for ideas in the world around me, asking what would change if something simple, something we take for granted, was different. The margins of my notebooks are brimming with ideas I might use later.
