• “Iraq Finance Expo” Exhibition & Conference at Baghdad International Fair
The Iraqi Securities Commission and Iraq Stock Exchange participated at a joint
pavilion in the “Iraq Finance Expo” exhibition and conference, which was organized at

Baghdad International Fair during the period Jul. 15 -17 2023, to educate visitors
about the culture of investing in securities and the instructions and laws regulating share
trading and central depository. The ISC Chairman’s address, which was delivered at
the opening ceremony, outlined the Commission’s plans to develop the activity of the
Iraq Stock Exchange for the period 2023-2025.
Members of the Commission, the ISX CEO, and Chairman of the Rabee Securities
Company participated in a discussion panel on the reality of dealing and investing in

securities and development indicators on Jul. 16 .

• “World Investor Week” Conference
The Iraqi Securities Commission organized the “World Investor Week” Conference in

Baghdad on Oct. 1 -2 2023. The conference discussed investment opportunities in
Iraq, the strategy for developing the financial sector, and challenges facing investment
development in the country along with the available opportunities in this context. The
conference participants forwarded recommendations to the responsible bodies. Among
the conference's supporters were the Iraq Stock Exchange and a number of listed joint-
stock and brokerage companies, out of their belief in the importance of communicating
with investors and exchanging visions of developing the Iraqi capital market.
