In this workshop, participants will gain insight and tools to
better research and render diverse characters in their stories.
We will talk about how to develop characters in a way that
honors their story. ADRIANA was born and raised in the
Caribbean, but for the last 15 years has let her job take her all
over the world. Her Dreamers series has been featured in
The TODAY Show on NBC, Entertainment Weekly, OPRAH
Magazine, NPR, The NY Times, and The Washington Post.

The Teen Advisory Board is a program for teens who want
to help with library programs and offer input into library
collection and program development. Earn volunteer
service hours while helping your community and having
fun! Ages 13-18.
Computer Camp: Career Resources (Online Event) Tues, Jan. 18
Whether you're exploring a new career or adding new 1:00pm – 1:45pm
skills, this class is for you. We'll explore little known
resources that the Alvin Sherman and Broward County
libraries have that can set you on the path to the career
of your dreams. To access these resources, you will need
the Broward County and Alvin Sherman library cards.
