                       3.1.1 TECHNOLOGY
The maximum use of technology is deemed necessary. Faculty members
shall maximize the use of technology to support learning and teaching. For offline
learning, instructors and professors shall use printed scholarly works/instructional
materials, videos, electronic copies in storage devices like flash drives, learning
packets, radio broadcasting networks, and LMS with MOODLE application as the
platform. For online learning, desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, mobile
applications, and the Learning Management System using MOODLE application
shall be applied. Other online platforms like Edmodo, google classroom, easy
class, blackboard and the like maybe used.
Both online and offline technology can be combined in the learning process.
Desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, mobile applications, learning packets,
Learning Management System using MOODLE application and other online
                       platforms maybe used.

                       3.1.2 CONTENT/LEARNING MATERIALS

Open educational resources (OERs) in storage devices, printed
IMs/scholarly works, video, audio, podcasts, and LMS are to be used for offline
learning. Further, electronic IMs, video, audio, podcasts, webcast, OERs, internet-
based technology, and LMS - MOODLE application are to be used also for online
learning. For both offline and online learning, printed IMs, digital resources, LMS,
television, radio and virtual learning are to be used when using synchronous and
                       asynchronous learning.

                       3.1.3 MODES OF LEARNING
Synchronous, asynchronous or both modes of learning shall be used in
delivering instruction. Different strategies of teaching must be applied by the
instructors/professors in their classes whether synchronous (online) or
                       asynchronous (offline) learning.

                       A. Synchronous Learning
In synchronous learning, students learn at the same time, communication
happens in real time, possibly more engaging and effective, allows for instant
feedback and clarification. Example: Use of Zoom, google meet, video conferencing,
live chat, live streaming video, LMS, etc.

                       A. Asynchronous Learning

In asynchronous learning, students learn at different times, communication
is not live, and allows students to work at their own pace. Example: Use of LMS,
SMS, email, screencasts, Flip grid, videos, blog posts/comments. Pre-recorded
                       video lectures are also encouraged.
