General Studies Program
MAY provides a rich and varied curriculum designed to meet the needs of both the typical student and the high
achieving honors student. As each student progresses through his required Regents courses, he also has the option
to select from Honors and Advanced Placement alternatives in almost every discipline. Seniors have an extensive
range of elective options, including participating in our Touro Freshman Center Program or taking college courses at
Lander College for Men. The electives offered each term are selected in collaboration with the students, parents, and
advisors.
English and Math are foundation skills, critical for college entrance exams, college and successful careers. MAY helps
our students succeed by maintaining a focus on SAT preparation and quality writing throughout the 4 years of high
school.
