EIJ: What should be the process for integrating firearms safety back into society?
Mas: No need to integrate back, as it has been there all along. While we don’t see
Hunter Safety taught in public schools as it was when I was young, we have more
NRA-certified instructors than ever, and the upcoming Second Amendment Founda-
tion training contingent. In addition, we have more private firearms training acad-
emies than ever in the history of the world.
EIJ: What steps do your firearm training facility put into place to help mitigate ac-
cidental discharge of a weapon?
