Leo woke up hearing the sounds of an
explosion near his house. Running out of
his house, he saw the city being attacked by
the The Unified Reign of Esstoka. Leo
Clintwood was a 20 yr old male blade
dancer who worked as a low level
adventurer in the adventurer’s guild. He
had black hair and a diamond shaped face,
he was a thin boy hailing from the Viviene.
He always dreamt of being an adventurer as
he found them cool. He trained hard from a
young age by himself and then he bid his
parents and his home at age 16 to become
an adventurer. It was the summer of 1342
and the city being attacked is the city of
Aquatine a major trading hub of the The
Silver Commonwealth of Mistletoe. Leo saw
that there was chaos everywhere. People
were running towards safety. The Army and
other guilds were all hand on deck, the
mages were rushing to the Gates, the
alchemists were gathering all of their
portions and the soldiers were ringing the
bells which according to Leo sounded like
the bells of doom and death. A guy from the
adventurer’s guild rushed to him and said
that all adventurers are ordered to fight
against the attacking forces of Esstoka. In
his mind Leo wanted to run to safety but he
had to defend his honour and plus he could
not run anywhere as there was only one
going outside this city and it was being
attacked by enemy. Leo made his mind that
he had to fight but doubt crept into him
that whether he would survive or not. He
kept his hopes up and runs to the gate. The
forces of Esstoka are attacking with heavy
catapult fire and their mages are firing all of
their spells at the gates. The soldiers are
barely holding the gate and a call for
reinforcement had been put, but it will take
days for more soldiers to come. Suddenly
there’s an announcement that the main
warriors rush to the gate while the mages,
alchemists and archers draw cover fire. A
gruesome fight continues, bodies fall one by
one both of allies and enemies and blood
flows like a river. Leo killed many soldiers
himself. He didn’t like to kill people, but the
enemy soldiers will kill him if he doesn’t.
They secured the gate, but suddenly Leo
heard the sound of something falling
behind. Leo looked behind to see all of the
other warriors dead. Leo was shocked and
dumbfounded. Before he can turn back, he
was having a blade against his neck. A
shrill voice spoke out that if he speaks
another word he would be dead in a second.
He tried to react but he was quickly
incapacitated and then Leo felt a sharp pain
in his head and he passed out. Leo woke up
and felt himself strapped to a chair in a
dark room. He heard the creaking of a door
and then he saw the torch in his room being
lit by a flame. Seven people stand before
him in different types of armor. Some
looked to him as paladins, some mages and
some assasins. They talked among each
other whether they should keep Leo alive.
Leo tried to speak, but his mouth was tied
by a cloth. The Paladin among them took
the cloth from Leo’s mouth. Leo shouted
that he will not say anything to them. The
mage present there sealed all the doors and
windows with a soundproof magic spell and
then told Leo to hear carefully. First they
introduced themselves. First was Jake a 23
yr old warrior hailing from the coastal cities,
second was Keane, an elf, he was 20 yrs old
and was a bard from the Forest of Spirits.
Then there was Yoshida, the only Paladin in
the room. The fourth was Kate, an assassin
from the royal capital. After that there was
Harley a beast kin from the United Animal
kingdom. She was the mage who performed
the spell and then there was Roy, a warrior
who was the Leader among the ten people
and lastly there was Issac who introduced
himself as a trickster from the capital. Leo’s
curiosity took over his mind and he asked
