“Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else” Exodus 4:13

Moses lacked faith that eventually Lord got angry with him and came to compromise
by sending Aaron to speak for him. At last, Moses completed the mission despite his
             doubts.

 The Israelites kept doubting God, although God repeatedly proved them that he would

take care of them. They kept doubting whenever they experienced a challenge.

“And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and
because they tested the Lord saying “Is the Lord among us or not?” Exodus 17:7

Massah means testing and Meribah means quarrelling.

 Thomas not believing Jesus resurrected until he saw for himself.

“Unless I see the nail marks in his hands were and put my hand into his side, I will not
             believe” John 20:25

The Bible says Jesus appeared to them and he told Thomas “Put your finger here. See
my hands. Reach out your hands and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

             John 20:27

Jesus then stated that “Because you have seen me, you have believed, blessed are those
who have not seen and yet to be believed.” John 20:29

 Naaman underestimated the he was going to be healed: Naaman was an army
commander. An Israelite girl told him that the prophet Elisha could heal him. But when he

went to be healed, he didn’t believe he could be healed the way Elisha advised. Perhaps
Naaman’s lack of faith began, the prophet decided to send his messenger rather than

             meet with Naaman himself.
“Elisha sent a messenger to say to him “Go wash yourself seven times in Jordan and your

flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed” 2 Kings 5:10

             Overcoming the “Lack of Faith”

As the Bible says “If we are faithless, he remains faithful for he cannot disown himself.”
More than a few people struggle to be within their faith in numerous times of trouble.
Having doubt does not mean you don’t believe in God. It means uncertainty in your

faith. When problems occur that we don’t understand, we question them. Faith is
seen as the object, rather than God himself. The purpose of faith is to bring us into the
presence of God. It is valuable to remember that when we struggle with faith we are in

good company. God understands our inability to exercise the faith we need at times,
as the Bible says “The righteous person will live by his faithfulness”. Without faith, it is

impossible to please God. Faith is giving up disbelief and living the life that glorifies God.
Thus to conclude, nurturing a strong foundation by spending time in prayer and worship
the Lord will strengthen faith in life.
