Compassionate care,
Guided by Faith Kripa J. Mathew
(Roll No. 1822)
Our journey begins with a search for meaning and purpose. As we search, we
identify areas that need saving, whether it’s a relationship, habit, or our own well-
being. By taking action to rescue and restore, we’re then called to serve others,
using our gifts and talents to make a positive impact.
As speech and hearing care professionals, we embark on a journey to improve
the lives of individuals with various speech and hearing needs. Our path is guided
by three principles: Search, Serve, and Save.
Our journey begins with a search for knowledge and understanding. We strive
to stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in speech and
hearing care. By searching for new knowledge and understanding, we can
improve diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation outcomes.
“Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7
This Bible verse reminds us that seeking knowledge and understanding is a
fundamental part of our journey as speech and hearing care professionals.
As we search, we discover opportunities to serve others. We use our gifts and
talents to provide compassionate and professional care. By putting the needs of
our patients before our own, we find joy in serving and making a difference.
“Do your work as slaves cheerfully, as though you served the Lord, and not merely
men.” - Ephesians 6:7
This Bible verse reminds us that serving others is not just about our patients, but
about serving a higher purpose.
Our work in speech and hearing care is guided by a desire to save lives and
improve the quality of life for individuals with various speech and hearing
needs. By providing timely and effective interventions, promoting awareness
and education, and supporting research and development, we strive to make a
positive impact.
“Don’t hesitate to rescue someone who is about to be executed unjustly.” -
Proverbs 24:11
