Search, Serve & Save:

The blueprint of Christian living Abia Mercy Shaji

In the journey of Christian living, we are called to embody three essential

principles: Search, Serve & Save. These are mere actions, but a reflection of the
life of Christ modeled for us.

The first step is to search – to diligently seek God’s will and his presence in our

lives. As Mathew 7:7 encourages, “Ask & it will be given to you; Seek & you wil
find; knock & the door will be open to you”

In our pursuit of God, we are invited to ask for wisdom, guidance & strength,
trusting that he will answer.

Once we find God and understand his purpose, we are called to serve, Christ

himself said in Mathew 20:28, “The son of man did not come to be served, but to
serve, & to give his life as a ransom for many”

Serving others - whether through acts of kindness, offering a helping hand, or

spreading his love is a reflection of Christ’s humility and selflessness.

Lastly, as believers, we are called to save -to share the good news of salvation
with the world. As Mark 16: 15 commands, “He said to them, go into all the world

& preach the gospel to all nation”

Our role is to spread the message of Jesus, guiding others toward the hope &
eternal life found in Him.

Together, these three participles -Search, Serve & Save form a blueprint of

Christian living, guiding us to a life dedicated to God’s purpose & his kingdom.
Searching deepens our faith, serving reflects Christ’s love & humility, and saving
souls spreads God’s grace. By living these principles, we align with God’s will and

become lights in the world.
